Discover the ancient history of Tibet from the first king in 127AD and how Buddhism as well as the pre-Buddhist religion Bon, influenced the unique culture of Tibet. The modern history since 1949 and escape of the Dalai Lama and the mass exodus of Tibetan refugees to India in 1959 following the Chinese occupation will also be covered.Rinzin Norden is accredited by the Central Tibetan Administration Department of Religion and Culture in Dharamsala (in exile) and is an Accredited translator and interpreter.
