"How to Publish Open Access for Free" - Open Access Week Seminar and Open Access Game Other events...
October 21 - 25 is International Open Access Week

The theme for 2019 is "Open for Whom? Equity in Open Knowledge”

Take the opportunity during Open Access Week to consider the potential impact of your research, if everyone who could benefit had equal access to your findings. The University provides support to make this achievable for most journal articles, and supports on-going national and international initiatives to expand open scholarship.

In recognition of Open Access Week, the Library presents:

1:00 pm - 1:40pm  Seminar - Making your research findings openly available need not be expensive. Hear how the UWA Profiles and Research Repository and the UWA Article Processing Charge Fund may enable you to meet funder mandates and increase the reach of your publications and data at no cost.

1:40 pm - 2:00 pm The Game of Open Access (optional) - We invite you to stay after the seminar to play a simple and fun board game to learn more about Open Access publishing. There is a prize for the winners and we will tempt all participants with our own spin on some enticing green and gold options.
