WINTERarts: Home Time Peaches Character Design : School holiday art workshop at the gallery Other events...
Learn how to create characters from seedpods, leaves and dried plants in this workshop with artist Elizabeth Marruffo.

Working from the graphic novel Home Time, by Campbell Whyte, you’ll get an inside look into how the world of The Peaches came to be. From wild costumes and hilarious accessories, these cuties are filled with character and bursting with energy.

You’ll learn how to design distinct Peach characters, each with their own personality and sense of style. You’ll then use native plants, leaves and seedpods, along with felt to sculpt your own characters, just like the creator of Home Time did!

Suitable for children aged 7-12. $20
