The Great Southern Speaker Series, a collaboration between the City of Albany, South Coast NRM, UWA Albany and Great Southern Development Commission are pleased to present its first event for the year: Rachel Cooke, US Consul General. Ms Cooke will be ‘in conversation’ with the ABC’s Christine Layton for International Women’s Day.
Tickets for this event are now on sale, and are only $15pp and can be purchased from the AEC Box Office or online through ticketek.com.au.
International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The first IWD occurred over a century ago, coordinated by the Suffragettes in 1911.
