|Values Impact Forum : This international conference provides a forum for scholars, businesses, educators, and government to engage in robust discussions about how personal and cultural values relate to important social issues.
This international conference provides a forum for scholars, businesses, educators, and government to engage in robust discussions about how personal and cultural values relate to important social issues.
The Plenary addresses will be given by Professor Shalom Schwartz on the study of human and cultural values. This year the Forum will focus on four major themes:
(1) Values and the socialisation of children (Keynote: Prof Ariel Knafo-Noam)
(2) Values and consumer behaviour (Keynote: Prof Julie Lee)
(3) Values and global public opinion (Keynote: Profs Rory Fitzgerald & Jan Cieciuch)
(4) Values and giving (Keynote: Dr Joanne Sneddon)
Each theme involves (1) an internationally renowned keynote speaker, (2) presentation of current research by selected delegates, and (3) a discussion with a panel of experts on research priorities.
Delegates who would like to present their research at the Forum should submit a research abstract by email. For more information see the Values Impact Forum website
