Dr Hodgson will be speaking on the topic:

“Morbidity and mortality resulting from oral disease and dentistry: potential associations with systems far far away......”

Overview of the topic:

Oral disease can kill or adversely affect quality of life. Undertaking dentistry is associated with risk that in the majority of cases is mitigated and leads to successful outcomes.

There is increasing evidence that oral microbes may impact on the body at distant sites and result in serious illness. This lecture explores how oral disease and the microflora have impact beyond the oral cavity and how this impact can be reduced by appropriate management strategies.

Please register your attendance with the event coordinator:

Jane Burnell, RSVP mandatory at [email protected] by 5.00pm Friday 28th of April 2017.
