He has observed the 2017 State Election with more than usual interest. The decline of the Barnett Liberal Government, its feisty relations with the National Party leader Brendon Grylls, the impact of Pauline Hanson’s One Nation Party, and the ‘fresh approach’ canvassed by the Labor Party in the face of the State’s growing debt, made the 2017 election campaign both exciting and complex.
