WORKSHOP: Athena SWAN workshop - STEMM Faculties
UWA has a long tradition of supporting diversity and equity initiatives. But what is life like on the ground for researchers? Do you experience an exciting and diverse culture around you? Does UWA walk the talk on inclusion? How do we bring our practices into line with our aspirations, policies and rhetoric?
We are seeking input from staff and students from the three STEMM Faculties: Science; Engineering and Mathematical Science; and Health and Medical Sciences. The outcomes from the workshop will feed into our Diversity Action Plan that we will develop over the next few months.
Interested academic staff, professional research-only staff and research students are invited to a half-day conversation on how to ensure our practices on the ground match our policies and rhetoric, specifically around inclusion and diversity.
