Open Access 101: What's new? Other events...
What is Open Access? An overview of OA plus an update on the latest global and local developments

Open Access publishing offers benefits to individual researchers and to the wider community, and key Australian funding agencies have mandates supporting it. If you have heard the term but are unsure what it means and why you should know about it then come along! This introductory session will provide you with a clear explanation of "OA" in the academic context. We’ll also give an update on recent developments in Australia and information about the UWA Research Repository that will allow you to make informed decisions about if, where and how to make your work freely available.
