2015 UWA Research Week Other events...
Whatever your idea of impossible might be, visit UWA 7 - 11 September for Research Week and discover the possibilities when we showcase UWA Research and its contribution to local and global communities. With over 40 events, there is sure to be something that ignites your interest.

Explore the amazing AMMRF's Incredible Inner Space Exhibition. This exhibition of inner space images and laser-etched crystal structures has travelled nationally and is on display 7 - 11 September in the foyer of the Bayliss Building.

Understand how plant biology and advancements in genomics can help alleviate the increasing global food deficit. Can plant bioinformatics feed the world? is presented by Professor David Edwards, School of Plant Biology on Monday 7 September.

Ever wonder whether the shape of your face affects how you sleep? Register for A Good Night's Sleep: Sleep disorders and the shape of your face and find out more. This public lecture presented by Professor Peter Eastwood, Centre for Sleep Science on Monday 7 September is sure to enlighten.

If you're interested in health and medicine, register now for Stem Cells - Science, Medicine and Ethics on Wednesday 9 September. Places for this public lecture by Professor Chris Higgins, Durham University will fill up fast.

Three Minute Thesis Semi-finals and Finals are being held on Thursday 10 September. Everyone is welcome and you may even learn something new, in three minutes or less!

During the 3MT interval head down to the Callaway Music Auditorium and enjoy In a state of flux. This music ensemble explores the edge between noise and music, and activity and performance.

Also on Thursday is a public lecture by Professor Boris Baer. Understand the importance of honeybees during Molecules of Love and Warfare.
