UWA Careers Centre - LinkedIn and Personal Branding Seminar : Join Shell Australia to find out more about how recruiters use LinkedIn Other events...
LinkedIn is the little black book of resourcing, this is where we go as Recruiters to find out a little bit more about you in the work world. LinkedIn helps us to create a storyline about you and your personal brand, in the olden days it used to be about having a great resume, now your resume is not the only mechanism that will be reviewed and considered to secure an opportunity - you will need a strong brand presence.

Recruiters searching for and assessing candidates will use a variety of methods to find diverse information about you, as if that wasn't pressure enough merely throwing together your LinkedIn profile without strategising its impact on your target audience can make your efforts ineffective or in some instances a detriment to you.

Come to this session to hear more from the Shell Recruitment Manager and Graduate Resourcing Advisor. Book on CareerHub - http://uwa.careerhub.com.au/students/events/detail/232109.

This seminar is for students from all years and disciplines.
