WORKSHOP: A novice's approach to using Excel

After completing this workshop, participants should be able to: * open, make changes, save and close a spreadsheet * enter/modify numbers, symbols, text or formulas into a cell * create and use basic formulas and functions * use help * select cell or range of adjacent and non-adjacent cells * use copy, cut and paste to duplicate/move cell contents * use the autofill tool/copy handle tool to copy or increment data entries * insert/delete rows, columns and cells * modify column width and row height * sort content in ascending/descending order * understand and use cell referencing in formulas or functions * format cells and cell ranges to desired styles * use basic print options
