WORKSHOP: Preparing to Apply for Academic Promotion

This session will provide you with information on the process for applying for promotion and how to put together a successful application. Intended outcomes:You will have a better understanding of: the process involved in applying for academic promotion, what is required for a successful application, what to include in your application and what to leave out, how to prepare an academic portfolio. Key activities:Review of the guidelines for applying for promotion by the Chair of the Academic Promotions Committee, presentation of what is required in an effective application.
