Avizo Fire: Demonstration and worked examples Other events...
Introduction

Avizo is a full-featured 3D application that enables engineers and scientists to load datasets, interactively explore, process and analyse that data, and finally to export and communicate the results. The Avizo Fire Edition offers a broad range of software tools for computing and visualising advanced qualitative and quantitative information. It is targeted at but not limited to: industrial tomography, crystallography, material microstructure evolution, modality inspection for nanostructure, non destructive testing and evaluation, core sample and surface analysis and food analysis. Avizo Fire delivers a broad feature set allowing materials scientists to see the invisible, to explore, understand and present their data.

Presenter: Gwenole Tallec

Gwenole Tallec is an application engineer for VSG (Visualisation Services Group) specialising in Avizo Fire and the Open Inventor toolkit. VSG is a leading provider of high-performance 3D visualization toolkits and software for engineers and scientists, delivering advanced 3D software solutions for scientific data visualization, engineering and simulation, materials science and geosciences. This is an unique opportunity to discuss your visualisation requirements with a key engineer of this very powerful visualisation software. Attendees are welcome to discuss their particular problems and are invited to bring samples of their data to the session for direct assistance by Gwenole (time permitting).

iVEC supports the use of Avizo Fire by providing licenses and a number of high end optimised workstations. To discuss access to these resources please contact Andrew Squelch ([email protected]) or Paul Bourke ([email protected]).
