Heart Week 2012 runs from the 6th to 12th May with a focus on the warning signs of heart attack and what to do. In the week prior, all staff are invited to a presentation on Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and the role of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automatic External Defibrillators (AED).
Topics to be covered include:

• Defibrillation
• First Responder System - Saving Lives
• Demonstration with AED
• UWA experience and emergency procedures
