WORKSHOP: Developing Your Professional Portfolio

The Professional Portfolio is a useful tool for staff at UWA who would like to plan for their ongoing development and growth. It can be used as part of the Professional Development Review process and can also assist in career planning and management. This session will explore the nature of the professional portfolio and work participants through the different elements. Areas to be covered in the session include: the structure of the portfolio, the process of reflection and review, describing the professional context, documenting professional outcomes and achievements, establishing professional development priorities, setting professional goals, leadership planning and development; documenting impact and developing a personal strategic plan.
