The 4th ACM SIGGRAPH Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques in Asia is being hosted this year in Hong Kong. The first Siggraph Asia conference was held in Singapore in 2008 and subsequently Yokahama in 2009, Seoul in 2010.
Siggraph Asia has become one of the key conferences in the region for all things related to computer graphics. At the heart of the conference are the technical papers and sketches but other key activities include courses, an emerging technologies exhibition, the art gallery and animation festival.
You are invited to an informal presentation by Paul Bourke, a summary of what was "hot", interesting, and exciting at the 2011 Siggraph Asia conference ... at least in his opinion.
